State A-F Rating

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) uses the “approaches” metric in their A-F rating system, which means students are not meeting state standards. At this level, additional support and remediation is needed to excel academically. The “meets” metric is a better indicator of student success, with students having at least a 60% chance of completing college, compared to 20% for students at the approaches metric.
